Filipa Sacadura, MSc (Secretary General)

With a background in Agriculture, Filipa has dedicated her career to bridge the links between science and the business sector, firstly in the Portuguese agricultural, food and forestry sectors and then in the Portuguese biotechnology sector.

Filipa started her career as a Research Fellow on innovation, technology transfer and entrepreneurship at IN+ Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research, from the University of Lisbon. In 2011, she joined INOVISA, a private non-profit association dedicated to the promotion of innovation and the business development in the agri-food sector, where she coordinated the areas of Technology Transfer and Cooperation & Development. Since 2019, Filipa is the Secretary-General of P-BIO, the Portuguese Biotechnology Industry Association, where her mission is to promote the growth of the Portuguese Biotechnology ecosystem.

Miguel Mondragão (PhD – Health Project Manager)

Miguel Mondragão is an experienced Health Project Manager with a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf. With over a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, he has successfully led projects in quality assurance, risk assessment, and preclinical and clinical studies.

Throughout his career, Miguel has held key positions in organizations such as VectorB2B – Drug Development, where he managed GLP services and established quality assurance systems, and Sea4Us, where he played a crucial role in securing research grants and developing innovative pain models. He has also contributed to research at renowned institutions, including the Champalimaud Foundation and Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf.

His expertise spans toxicology, safety pharmacology, and regulatory compliance, with a strong background in stakeholder engagement and crisis management. Miguel is certified in ICH E6 GCP and Business Intelligence, bringing a strategic approach to project execution. He is passionate about driving innovation and improving healthcare solutions through rigorous scientific and managerial practices.
