Rui Santos (Director & Teacher)

Rui Santos holds a degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Lisbon and has been teaching Mathematics to lower secondary students and Mathematics A and MACS at upper secondary level since 2002.

He holds two master’s degrees: one in Probability and Statistics and another in Educational Administration. He has been a permanent teacher at the Paço de Arcos School Cluster since September 2018 and has been serving as Director since July 2025.

Cristina Maria Cardoso Dias (Teacher)

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Geology Education from the University of Aveiro (1994) and a Master’s degree in Geology and Biology Teaching from the same institution (1999).
Teaches Natural Sciences at the lower secondary level and Biology and Geology at the upper secondary level.
Since 2018, she has been part of the teaching staff at the Paço de Arcos School cluster.
She has coordinated the Clube Ciência Viva na Escola since 2019.

Cristina Sardinha (Teacher)

Graduated in Biology and Geology Teaching from the University of Minho, Cristina Sardinha has been teaching Natural Sciences to middle school students and Biology and Geology to high school students since 1997.

She holds a postgraduate degree in Science Communication and served as the Educational Coordinator at the Centro Ciência Viva de Sintra during the 2014/2015 academic year. However, since her true passion has always been teaching, she returned to the classroom the following school year.

Since September 2015, she has been a permanent teacher at the School Group of Paço de Arcos, where, in addition to teaching, she holds several management and administrative roles, notably serving as the Coordinator of the Health Education Project.
