The SciComPT 2025 Congress, Portugal’s leading science communication event, took place from May 7–9, 2025, at the University of Évora. Bringing together researchers, communicators, educators, and the wider public, this annual congress is a vibrant platform to explore new ways of sharing science and fostering dialogue between science and society.
was presented with a poster and leaflets, a questionnaire was filled by 80 participants – SciComPt is an association that was created by science communicators to serve the community that works in the area of science communication. With members from all over the islands and from the north to the south of the country, who are fully dedicated to science communication or do it as a side activity, and including communicators from communication offices, science museums, journalism, etc., SciComPt represents a heterogeneous, multidisciplinary and dynamic community. Operating as a true Network, SciComPt aims to map and highlight the work of science communicators in Portugal, promoting partnerships, knowledge sharing and new opportunities that allow symbiotic growth among all its stakeholders.
